   I have always thought this to be something that needs to be done. Also on the elementary school level.

   This is captured in rezoning requirements. The City has also developed a Waterwise Landscape Guide http://vancouver.ca/commsvcs/guidelines/W005.pdf

   Great idea. Using grey water for this like flushing toilets would make a huge impact when implemented on a large scale.
