The draft Greenest City Action Plan addresses occupant engagement in conservation efforts. This idea will be considered as a way to make it easy for occupants to conserve energy related to plug loads
An error occurred while saving the comment Lilah commentedAgreed! Almost everyone is guilty of leaving their cell phone charger plugged in when they are not using it! And it is always warm! These "phantom" electricity charges are unnecessary.

Increase indoor temperature range, to connect people to outside and reduce energy. Sweaters! Shorts!
4 votesWhile the City cannot mandate the temperature that people set their thermostats to, this issue is addressed through occupant engagement as well as education and capacity building for building operators.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lilah commentedThis is a vacuum tube waste collection system, and they work great. Particularly for large stadiums, and dense developments with lots of pedestrian traffic and "waste" generation.

An error occurred while saving the comment Lilah commentedIn trying to build greener buildings, natural ventilation is a good method to achieve comfort and air quality without using mechanical work. I work in a building with natural ventilation, and 1 loud motorcycle driving by effectively halts all conversation within the 20,000 sf space, a full office of 80 people.
Is it really necessary to drive such a LOUD vehicle? -
