On a streetcar in Toronto I had to stand while a dog occupied a seat. The TTC driver said he didn't want a fight. I can't vote for this proposal unless there's a "people first" solution on public transit.

An ongoing process. Many of the City’s recent initiatives (e.g. downtown separated bike lane trial, additional traffic calming on existing routes) work towards this vision. The draft Greenest City action plan will support this idea, and include directions to help inform the upcoming transportation plan update and new active transportation plan.

The green space at Hastings Park has been cut considerably (and given instead to commercial enterprises) from what East Van was promised by a previous council. If the new Master Plan for Hastings Park goes through, then how can the mayor and council make us believe they really want 'the greenest city'? Or do they mean -except for East Van?
