An error occurred while saving the comment Phillip Ichikawa commentedAlso upgrading the incandescent lighting to energy efficient LED lighting powered by A-Grade Monocrystalline Solar Cells, would be a visible benefit to making Vancouver the Greenest City by 2020. These will make a visible statement that our city is Green. Great for applications in dog parks, bicycle/walking trails, parking lots and streets with no hyrdo grid access.

Vancouver’s Solar Homes Pilot is offering $4300 towards the cost of solar hot water systems in Vancouver – this is roughly 50 per cent of the cost of a system. The funding is available to 30 homes on a first come, first served basis. In order to qualify for the rebate, your system must be installed by December 31, 2010.
