Let's reintegrate horses into our transportation plan! Imagine it - stables on each block, dedicated horse lanes, manure turned into valuable compost, natural exercise and healthy thigh muscles, job creation, reduced car use, animal therapy... there would be so many advantages! Bring back the horses, I say!!

Oh, thank you! For those of us who are trainers affected by the economy, this would be so wonderful for getting back into full time work with horses. Just think of all the new owners/riders who would have to learn horsemanship 101!

I'm all for it. what a great idea. much better, even than the car coop, which still nurtures our love affair with the automobile. I would add that for those of us with allergies, there be antihistamines available in case of sneezing and so forth. Then again...maybe we should just hop on a horse and suck it up.

LOVE it!.. and think of the jobs we would create.. stable managers, compost collectors.. OR make them volunteer gigs.. 12 yr old girls would be lining up round the block to get gigs!.. on a serious note though, working with these amazing animals has saved many a humble human..
